Video Data Bank at the 33rd Onion City Experimental Film Festival

VDB is excited to once again participate in the Onion City Experimental Film Festival!

Opening night of the 33rd Onion City Experimental Film Festival will feature the Chicago premiere of Deborah Stratman's Last Things on March 30, 2023, at 6 PM, presented in partnership with Conversations at the Edge at Gene Siskel Film Center. 

Dani and Sheilah ReStack will present The Sky's in There as part of the Onion City program 'About Life', presented in partnership with Monira Foundation at Mana Contemporary. Screenings will take place in the intimate Jonas Mekas Cinema, repeating at scheduled times from Monday, April 3, to Sunday, April 9.

Martine Syms' Soliloquy and Christopher Harris's Dreams Under Confinement will be presented as part of the program Machine Perspectives, screening March 31 at 7 PM at Chicago Filmmakers. eteam will also present their film Our Non-Understanding of Everything 02 as part of the program Enchanted Environments, screening April 2 at 5 PM at Chicago Filmmakers.
