In this hour-long video, Dan Sandin demonstrates and explains in detail on modules of the Sandin Image Processor. Beginning with a playful and amateurish set up segment, Dan introduces his new invention, which he hints will be duplicated by Phil Morton shortly.
Dan starts off explaining the signal path and modularity of the Image Processor, which compiles of “Input Module,” “Output Module,” “Comparator,” “Oscillator,” “Differentiator,” “Adder/Multiplier,” “Function Generator,” “Amplitude Classifier,” etc. After introducing individual modules, Dan illustrates the Processor’s modularity through increasing the complexity of patching. The demonstration ends with Jim Wiseman introducing his equipment, a 14-input mixer with a colorizing section that turns black and white signals to color.
